Our Terms & Conditions of booking
When you pay your booking fee to book your party or event you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of this performer-client contract. This contract holds Emmabelle's Princess Parties responsible for providing the agreed upon entertainment services and also holds you responsible for paying the agreed upon amount at the times mentioned.
Booking a Party:
Once availability for your chosen event date is confirmed, please make your payment of the deposit/booking fee to fully confirm your booking (50% of total package price unless other agreements have been made in writing). This payment can be made via PayPal or bank transfer. Until we receive your payment the booking is NOT confirmed, and availbility can change at any time. The balance will be due once week before the party and payment must be cleared 48 hours before the day of the party unless other arrangements are made ahead of time with Emmabelle's Princess Parties owners. Your booking fee is non-refundable unless otherwise indicated.
If you book a party with us, yet fail to make your deposit within 48 hours of speaking with us, we re-open your spot, and make it available to be booked by someone else. If you still wanted to book us, you will need to re-book with us according to availability. At that time you would need to make the deposit that same day. We do not hold spots for anyone longer than 48 hours.
All Parties are reserved on a "first come, first serve" basis. Every party is allotted the amount of time chosen by the family and noted on your booking form and final pre-party confirmation. Parties must begin and end at the scheduled times. If you need to change the time of performer arrival, requests must be sent in writing.
Cancellations, Refunds and Rescheduling:
Your booking fee payment guarantees your party time and details in our calendar when you book. In the event of a cancellation we will retain your booking fee. All deposit payments are applied to your final invoice and the remaining balance must be cleared 48 hours before the day of your party.
Cancellation of the engagement by the client for any reason shall forfeit the deposit/booking fee. Cancellation of the engagement by the client within 7 days of the date of engagement shall also require payment of the balance to Emmabelle's Princess Parties, unless the same act is re-booked by the client for a mutually agreeable date within 60 days of the original event date. A client cancelling their engagement by telephone must also verify that cancellation in writing (via dated mail or email).
We understand that life happens so if you have an emergency and need to change the date or time after booking we will try to accommodate you as best we can and will apply your deposit to another date/time as a one-time courtesy. If you need to change the date/time, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can book other parties during your previously booked time, as well as try to accommodate your new requested time into our party schedule. If you need to change the date/time more than once, we will accommodate you as best we can with our party schedule, but a £15 fee will be applied. Date/time changes must be requested at least 48 hours in advance of your original booking date.
If Emmabelle's Princess Parties or the client must cancel or postpone the engagement due to an Act of God, “Force Majeure”, riot, strike, epidemic, or by the order of any public authority, the client will be able to reschedule for any date, dependant on the Company’s availability, within the next 14 months, with no charge. In the event of bad weather, serious illness, or other unforeseen emergencies, we reserve the right to cancel the event and offer an alternative date if available, if an alternative date cannot be agreed on, Emmabelle's Princess Parties will process a full refund. Communication can be made via 07942820422, 01234919142, www.facebook.com/emmabellesprincessparties
or firstname.lastname@example.org. We will contact you 24-72hrs prior to the party to reconfirm all details and ensure that there are not any known planned events or road works in your area that may affect us on the day of the party.
When you pay your booking fee to book a party or event, you are agreeing to provide a safe, clean environment for your party guests and the performer. The party area needs to be clutter free and space for all activities during the party. Please be advised that Emmabelle's Princess Parties assume no responsibility or liability resulting from accidents or damage caused during your party to your guests and/or your property. You can be assured the performer will treat your home and guests with respect and care, however liability will lie strictly with the Client. Emmabelle's Princess Parties is not responsible for allergic reactions to wearing any costumes, cosmetics, or accessories, or consuming any food or beverages before, during or after the party, although we will of course avoid using certain products or eating certain foods before the event if we are informed of allergies in advance. It is the responsibility of the guest and/or guests' parent or guardian to inform the Emmabelle's Princess Parties/performer of any allergy restrictions and take the appropriate steps to avoid contact with such items before the booking begins. Emmabelle's Princess Parties will not accept any responsibility for failure to notify us of any such allergies. It will be the responsibility of the Client to ensure that they have checked with all parents/guardians that permission has be given if activities such as glitter tattoos or makeover take place, where we are in contact with the child's skin. Both parties must take precautions to ensure guests and performers are free of illness on the event date. Emmabelle’s Princess Parties is not responsible for any illness which may occur following the booking. We reserve the right to refuse service with no refund if any person shows visible signs of being unwell upon arrival at booking.
Liability will also lie with the client for any damage caused to costumes and/or equipment by party guests or environmental factors at the party. If the client opts to serve food or requests makeup application or other services, we advise the client to alert guests and/or their parents of these activities that may result in allergic reactions or irritations. We also require clients to supervise all party activities. Although the performers are there to entertain the guests, it is the responsibility of the client, and/or guests’ parents to resolve behavioural problems or to care for children in the event of injury or illness.
Emmabelle's Princess Parties is not responsible for any injuries, negligence, or unruly behaviour during parties. Please act responsibly & chaperon all party guests. In an exceptional circumstance, if we feel that a guest is not behaving in an appropriate manner, we reserve the right to ask the responsible adult to exclude the guest from the party. If at any time performer feels that they are in a threatening, hostile, unsafe, harmful, hazardous, or unsanitary environment, the performer retains the right leave the premises immediately with full compensation from the client. Performer also has the right to refuse to perform services if the client is negligent, absent, inattentive, disrespectful, and/or inebriated or under the influence of any foreign substance.
No inappropriate behaviour or language of any kind will be tolerated. An unsafe atmosphere violates the agreement and we are under no obligation to provide party or event services. Performers may also bring additional people with them as hosts for a safety precaution. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
We generally do not work alongside other entertainment companies due to a conflict of business interests. If there is another company present at the venue, to which you did not give us prior knowledge of, we retain the right to remove ourselves from the venue at any given time with out warning if we feel they will negatively impact Emmabelle’s Princess Parties, or prevent us from providing our services. If you do wish to book other entrainment alongside our characters we will provide the agreed upon services to the best of our abilities, but please note that some children may choose not to join in and/or we may have to change our activities to adapt to what we feel would be an appropriate alternative. Our priority will always be to keep the birthday child happy and engaged. We do not understand any circumstances work alongside any other costumed Princess characters at any party or event.
Whilst our performers always leave plenty of time to travel to your chosen venue, and will attempt to find their own parking space, the client must ensure there is a safe and legal space for the performer to park their car at your chosen venue. This space must be within 250ft of the venue due to the volume of supplies our performer will need to carry whilst in costume. If any charges apply to parking, the client will be required to pay this charge/fee on the performer's arrival. Our performers will not be held responsible for beginning activities after the scheduled start time due to being unable to park on arrival, or whilst waiting for a parking charge to be paid, and may not be able to extend the booking at the end of the original booked time if they have another booking following. If your foresee parking being an issue, please let Emmabelle's Princess Parties know in advance of your booking.
All events are “rain or shine” unless otherwise stipulated. The client is responsible to provide an alternate indoor location in the event of inclement weather. Our performers cannot perform outdoors in inclement weather to do the effect it will have on our bespoke costumes and wigs. The client agrees to pay the full amount contracted once the performer has arrived at the event location, even if performer cannot perform due to inclement weather. The performer has the right to refuse to perform services or cancel performance if the temperature is higher than 22 degrees Celsius, or if there is rain, snow or sleet and the client has no alternate indoor location.
